Noise Abatement Program Awareness Bulletin: Aircraft Greater Than 12,500 lbs.

Please help to reduce sound levels by participating in Republic Airport’s Noise Abatement Program. The program is a voluntary effort on the part of aircraft operators. To participate, aircraft operators are advised to use the following measures when practical, possible and feasible:
  • Use the Standard Instrument Departure Profile and Noise Abatement Procedure when departing Runway 32. Upon departure, turn to a heading of 010 degrees and fly northbound along Route 110.
  • Refrain from all nighttime activity between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
  • Use Stage 3 Aircraft.
  • Use procedures recommended by the National Business Aircraft Association or Aircraft Manufacturer i.e. Thrust Reduction Techniques, Arrival and Departure Profiles.
